please see attached file the last setup is not reading the the setup stock for rest machining it worked the last time we ran this part but now it is all crazy.

Hi @j.cavender,

Have you made any changes to the model since it last ran successfully? Currently, rest machining from a mesh isn't supported for turning parts.

how else are you supposed to transfer stock from the last op

@j.cavender,

You should be able to convert the mesh to BRep in the model environment and then use the resulting body as your stock, which should be OK for rest machining.

that is an awful lot of steps to use a stock model from a previous operation. is this being worked on so the workflow can go faster?

We are definitely aware of the clunky workflow, and plan to improve it, but I can't say when that will be ready at the moment. Hopefully we can make some improvements to this soon, but no guarantees.
