How to mirror tool path (G Code)

Hi All,

I'm cutting sun glass lenses using 5 axis CNC. I make tool path for the left side, and copy the same setting for the right side. I just change the CAD model, in fact just change the geometry to another mirrored part. however, while it seems everything is the same the results are different in practice (I was able to witness that the machine is not using a same tool offset in both left and right machining, but it might not be the only problem). I was not able to find the source of the problem. So I was thinking if there is a way to simply mirror the Gcode or the tool path with respect to YZ plane the problem should solve. I don't know how to do it and I appreciate any help.

Thanks for posting your question to the Fusion 360 CAM forum. Have you tried using a pattern in the CAM environment to mirror the operations that are working for you? With this command you can mirror entire operations about a plane. Here are some steps to try this. Thanks and let us know if this resolves the issue for you or if you need any further assistance!

Does your post need to be specific to be able to post using the mirror g code function?

I was able to mirror it but it will not post it after that.

Posting works fine before mirror function is active.

Thanks
