Tool library Search

After the last update we are having problems with tool searches.

We have our tool libraries saved by machine, why does the tool

library pull up every tool in the library when searching for a specific tool. If I search for a flat

end mill for our Haas VF-2 it pulls up all the tools for that machine, not just flat end mills.

It's happening in Fusion 360 too. In Fusion, we have to clear the search field with the X then re type it in after selecting the library. This bug is the least of their worries. Fusion lets you post "out of date" operations with "missing" geometry. Fail.

Really should be testing this stuff before they drop the update.

Can you elaborate on this other issue a bit?

Are you saying if that the model changes to make a reference "sick", that you can still post the operation that contains the reference?

Jeff, I sent that info to Seth @LibertyMachine in the form of a Rage text. : )

Bouncing back and forth with the Tool Manager is also causing some issues for me. #Mac-User. I'm digging into that right now.

Seth, if you can't reproduce it, let me know. You shouldn't have any trouble. haha

Fails to invalidate operations after a model change in Some instances. I've attached the model.

Hi Jeff -

Sorry, I'm not sure I'm completely following the video. Can you explain the basics?

Looks like you made a couple model updates -- did the relevant toolpaths get marked invalid? I'd really expect ALL toolpaths to become invalid when a model change is made. I don't recall seeing a problem reported along those lines.

If it's something different -- or more specific -- than that, please advise.

Sorry. I messed this thread up. It's the first issue at the top Marked solved. Searching the tool library is a pain now because you have to delete the search criteria before you select the Library... or change with library you're using. Before the update, I could type in 1/2, then select the library to search.

The tool library search bug was reported and already fixed internally. It should be included in an upcoming release of Fusion.
