There is an offsetted(by 0.2mm) 2mm wide, 1mm deep circular groove which i want to mill out, but none of the operations give me a proper toolpath. I want to use a 2mm diameter ball endmill. Could you please suggest me what should I do? It's either gives me an empty toolpath error, or a wrong toolpath.

Two toolpaths can work for you, although may require a bit of playing around.

Step one: Sketch a circle at the mid point of the two radii.

Using this sketch, you now can use 2D Contour or Trace. Set Compensation to OFF, and disable your horizontal lead-in/out. I'd suggest also turning on Ramp (if you use 2D Contour, it's on the last tab)

Run simulation well, looking for gouges in it's approach or retract

I'm going to bump this back to the top because this only seems to function with ball and end mills. It will not drive the tool on center with a chamfer mill / spot drill. This is really frustrating, and it seems like something that could be easily fixed.

Solution: Used a 2mm flat end mill for the pocket (2d pcket), 2mm flat end mill for roughing(spiral) and a 2mm ball end for finishing(spiral). Only problem was i checked contact point boundary and this caused a groove in the pocket bottom. This is a rubber mold. In the upper plate I unchecked contact point boundary and i got the surface what i needed.

Since I got a little better. "Upped the stakes"
