The 2dContour toolpath is generating a spurious plunge in the middle of the workpiece:

Are the save positions generated by the copy paste, are you using joints originally? I've seen several problems when move or save position are used and repositioning your parts as best I can using joints fixes the problem, see attached file. It seems like moving the components more than once can confuse the CAM.

And what's up with this display (selecting either of the "Capture Position" tabs:

I also found that flipping the Setup over and starting over also cured it.

Further, rolling back on the History did NOT invalidate the toolpaths, nor did they update when CTRL+G was commanded.

All you're seeing in the first image is the sketches used to create the parts. The problems seem to be if you have compound moves, if you delete the second save position it works fine. In this case if you want to use save position just editing the first save position rather than creating a new one is a better workflow. I've seen these errors in the past with the move feature but I think they've fixed that, looks like save feature still has the bugs.

The toolpath not showing invalid again used to be a problem with move but that seems to have been fixed, editing the joints in the file I uploaded or using move then editing does invalidate the toolpath. See attached file where I've used move. Save Position is not really best practice as each one saves the position of all components in the document so in a large design there's a lot of data created and probably situations for it all to go wrong!

I was just being lazy using Move instead of a joint I had no idea it would affect the toolpaths. Deleting the moves and using a joint cures the problem.

The toolpaths are on the bottom because the original file has text to be engraved.

The models are patterns to create a bowl using a rose engine. Here's the shape they will generate:

Thank you both for finding the error(s) in my file.
