I just want to point out here that selecting the curves again is a terrible solution in a broken product, because I just had this happen to a tool path with 313 curves. Why, *WHY* is there no option to select all or otherwise draw a marquee around a section of curves? Having to go and select all of these by hand is a complete nightmare without the errors like this forcing me to go back and do it all over again.

Trying to start my first project and having trouble under the machining tab, 3D, Projects. It will not let me go any further and tells me "No curves selected to machine". I have no idea what it needs.

no, it is a bug, when you did selection for the toolpath(ie. I'm talking Trace - no closed curves required) and then you go back and alter curves in sketch (design workspace) you can have shown many curves selected(in trace edit - manufacture workspace), but when you click 'ok' to generate toolpath very often happens the pop up window with 'no curves selected' the solution is clear selection and start selecting again ( this same curves, this same selection, but no pop up) magic.

Please share a file or ScreenCast that represents this issue. If there's a bug, we certainly want to at least log it and get it into the queue for assessment.

File > Export > Save to local folder. Return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply
