Turning - Rest from Stock - Unexpected Display

Hello

If the Configuration "Small without Slot" is selected, "Rest from stock" is displayed correctly.

But when I switch to the Configuration "Small" ( with Slots), the display "Rest from Stock" is not correct.

In the Machine Simulation, the "Rest from Stock" is displayed correctly again.

I can't say that I'm that surprised that there are issues, as Configurations are not yet well supported in the MFG workspace.

Could you tell me a bit about your workflow? I'm curious why you have duplicate models and are referencing Stock From Solid instead of "From Preceding Op > Continue Rest Machining"

Also, in the Design space, it appears that there may be something off with your Config: setting it to "Small without Slot" gives me this result:

But "Large" does produce this:

Thank you for the support and the interesting questions, I will try to answer one question after the other with my level of knowledge.

I have only achieved excellent results with Configurations in the MfG workspace so far. On the contrary, I was amazed that the Configurations in the MfG workspace worked so excellently from the beginning. I like to give a big compliment to the development team.

Of course, what you should never use when using Configurations in the MfG workspace is the Manufacturing model.

In this example, I'm working with a Configured Design "Stages of Design for Manufacturing". Therefore, I can insert the current raw and finished part of the current setup from the configured design for each setup and don't need a blank "From Preceding Op"

If I have a mill/turn machine, I need a raw and finished part for the primary spindle and a raw and finished part for the secondary spindle to run a realistic simulation. Of course, Fusion still lacks a Mill/Turn machine model, but I assume that this will come.

I created the configuration "Small without Slot" only to make the unexpected behavior more visible, as it seems to be caused by the slots.

Using the "Stages of Design for Manufacturing" workflow in a Configured Design is of course very special, but Fusion offers me the possibilities to apply this workflow.

In the January 2025 Update and Community Bug Fixes (MFG) it says that this bug has been fixed.

Unfortunately, however, it is still buggy.

Yep, you're absolutely right, my apologies. It looks like we split the ticket into two issues, fixed one of them and not the other. The other ticket to track this is CAM-58801 and I've added this thread to the ticket.
