hypothetical item choice

I wonder how to best create this this type of item.....

When I create an item it can possibly be of two types A or B. they share a lot of Fields but also have there own specific information. How can I code it so when I select item A I only see the fields associated with it and when I select B I only see the fields associated with it?

Hi Tim,

At this point you cannot script to Hide or Show fields. We do however see people using the Collapsed section option, and scripting a note section make the user aware of what sections they need to fill out passed on the previous answers provided.

My mistake on the mistype, At this point you cannot script to show or Hide fields. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
