Hello all,

Are we the only customer experiencing problems on the Production PLM server and more important problems on the Sandbox server? Since 2 days now, it is very very slow, performing a workflow transition is really hard (need to submit 10 times without changing anything and it works only after few try, impossible to access to the server,...

THanks for your feedbacks,

Sylvain

Very slightly slow occasionally in last 2 days on multiple tenants. But minor.

What you describe is a whole different level.

Log a ticket with Support.
Capture precise time, user, and url, and pride a couple of concrete examples the can lookup in the logs.

My experience is that for something so serious they can quickly determine the problem.

Also use f12 tracing. Look for any failing urls yourself.
Try another site that is always reliable, eg news site, or fast.com, at the same time as flc is failing, to pin down whether this is a problem on your own connection.

Thanks Philip, I have already created a ticket with all the information and the tests that I can do on my side (tenant, time, browser, F12,...) and the support is on it. I was just wondering if it was only us.

Do you know if the PLM sandbox has less ressources than the Production server? If Autodesk does not provide the same "power"? I ask this because I have seen that if I do a change in the PLM configuration, it is replicated only few seconds/minutes after in the PLM itself when I work on the sandbox. In the Production server, it is instantaneous.

Hey Sylvain. It's been awhile 🙂 I did some testing in my tenant's sandbox, and I'm not experiencing any slow-downs. I know you've been in the game for a while, so you've probably checked all these, but maybe try pinging (or tracert) your tenant and see if it's network related. If not then it might be the particular server your tenant is on, a change in code from your side, a recent update from Adsk side, an API call being made in the script that's gone awry, or maybe a bad record in the database. Not sure if any of that is the case, but just some thoughts.

Hope you're doing well. 🙂

My PLM users have the same problem and as we are working from different places we have supposed that the problem was not our network but the server. I will try the ping to see if it explains the problem. For the scripting, when I copy/paste the same scripts on the Production server it is working much better. This is why, since 2 days now I am testing my scripts/improvements on the Production server itself... not the best practice but the work must be done.
