Multiple Selection Picklist in BOM

I created a BOM View which included 2 Item Details Fields that contain a Multiple Selection Picklist (orange). But when I check the view of an item with multiple entries in those fields they stay empty.

Is this intended this way? Or a Bug?
And if intended why is the field even an Option in the BOM Layout Configuration?
Single Picklists (Green) work fine.

To get around the restriction, I have now inserted a calculated Field that gets the Multiselect Picklist into a Single Line Text. But not sure if that's the best way to solve this.

The reason why I put these fields in the BOM is to be able to make a comparison between different revisions. Or does anyone know better methods to compare the item details?

This seems to be a bug, I can reproduce the issue on my side. Can you please create a support ticket?

The ticket is closed as a change request and is now with the development team of Autodesk.
But i haven't heard anything since then.
