Initially this will depend on whether you're using Office 365 (Cloud) or Exchange Server (on Prem).

Ideally your on O365, and can reference those REST API's (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office365/api/calendar-rest-operations)

Due to FLC Timeout restrictions, you're probably going to have to offload this to a service (Jitterbit or custom REST API/Service you host), but once you get the bulk of it out of FLC, then authentication is probably going to be your next challenge.

If authentication is too big of a challenge, it may be easier to just create an ICalendar (.ics) file and attach it to an email or download it from the browser (might not be possible from within FLC).

Here is an example on creating ICS:

https://github.com/matthiasanderer/icsFormatter

This could be part of Jitterbit, as I believe you can send an email from Harmony with an attachment, the ICS you created, but you'd have to verify that.

I'm guessing some of the "Future" Fusion Connect features may address this, but they are not available yet...

Hope this helps.

Hello,

We are looking to use the Outlook API to generate a meeting invite when a particular transition is executed on a script. We are hitting a roadblock and wondering if this is actually possible.

Has anybody implemented this successfully?

Thanks!
