      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem but as administrator, I have a second account to "simulate" a specific account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Like it, you can check what the supplier can see.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want, I can show you how I have organized the users/groups/roles.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sylvain&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Please find attached an excel file that I use as administrator to manage rights in Fusion Lifecycle. Here is the methodology that I suggest to adopt (it works well for us):&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Identify all the groups of users that you will need.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Create for each workspace, between 2 and 4 roles. For me, I create the following roles:
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;One read only (for people in the company)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;One read and write (for people in the company)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;One Admin (for admin of FLC in the company)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;One Supplier (for external people with the permission to see only the item where they are in the field “Additional owner”)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Assign for each role the correct permissions.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add in each group the correct roles.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add each user in the correct groups.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The tricky thing is that I have the generic group called “1 – Supplier” which is linked to the roles and permissions and all the suppliers are in this group.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But, I create as much as groups as we have different suppliers. For example, if I have 2 suppliers (toto and tutu companies), I create one group called “Supplier [toto]” and another one called “Supplier [tutu]”. I add for each users of the company toto in the group “Supplier [toto]”. These kinds of groups will be used in the field “additional owner”.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So, if you want to ‘simulate’ what a supplier can see, you just need to create a second account for you (with your gmail address for example), give him a “Third party” license (reserved to suppliers and customers but I think that you can use one if it is to check 5 min every month, Autodesk can understand this point) and add it in the group “1 – Supplier” and in the group of the company that you want to check the access. If you want to see what the toto users can see, add the user in the group “Supplier [toto]”.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then log in with your gmail account and go to the items (do not forget to remove the filter which is used by default for the first connection).&lt;/P&gt;

This one concerns the shared report. When a supplier creates a shared report, the supplier can see all the groups and users in your Fusion Lifecycle. As an admin it's a big challenge for me to make sure specific data (released data) is viewable to our CMs. I have seen a recent instance where in our consultant re-deployed a commented condition which has eliminated setting contract manufacturers group as additional owners on released data since then and I started getting emails from our CMs to open access on certain components of BOM. That's really time consuming. Given there is a reporting around additional owners field on items it would have been easier for me to identify the culprits and fix them in one shot using poweshell script. Therefore I would request you to make this request as part of your road-map, implement and release it soon. Waiting for users/customers to rate an idea to take it forward always is a BAD thought and some issues like this need to be considered based on the severity. I would also request you to come up with other means to open access to CMs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For me adding CM as additional owner on items and building the permissions around that is a WORKAROUND, not a permanent solution. Hope you agree with me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/992715"&gt;@michelle.stone&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
