Advanced Print Views: How to get the owner display name?

Hello,

We are creating an Advanced Print View and would like to display the item's owner's name. However, when we use the artifact from Change Summary, we get the 'DB' user ID (e.g. XDVC2, instead of Wendy Salas). This is the artifact we are using:

${workspace.metadata.changeSummary.owner.value}

How can we make the name display?

**Adding more details**

Found that the OOTB Print View does display the Owner, but I cannot see the under the hood artifact to get this value displayed (as shown attached). When I go to the Advanced Print Views, and use the Change Summary Artifact, what I get is the USER ID or the email address. Any help in this is appreciated.

I think this is an anomaly, but will let the shoot and eng team assess. You should be getting the user facing name and not id.

Hello Wendy,

This is a known issue with advanced print view, if you need to display owner information you can use regular print views. The basic print views won't have this issue. Another option is to use scripting to store the owner first and last names into a single line text field that you add to your workspace. You can then include this new field in your advanced print view to display owner information.

Although I can't get the owner directly in an APV, i can get the change log to see who created the item and we can write a script to copy the owner to a hidden attribute on the details page that we can use to show the owner on the report.

Hi Tony,

Yes, we will give that a try and see; my concern as thinking of this is that if we change the owner this would also require to be updated to avoid syncing issues, so will need to think through the potential scenarios.

I have reported this to support so that in the future this is OOTB; the alphanumeric owner id does not provide value to end users as is.
