Hi, I tried the DXF export tool in Fusion and all I got was a board outline. I want to send to my mechanical a file that shows where the new parts and holes are located so he can check if it fits in his model. I know this is sort of backwards as I should be importing his DXF to work off but that is not the ask right now from my team. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you export the dxf from Fusion design environment?

Please try this:

thanks! I had tried a different method and not gotten the results I wanted. This method seems better. I think there are still a few things missing but I will toss this output over the wall and see if my ME is satisfied.

Much appreciated!

Can I customize the layer for dxf output? I do not need the traces (top layer) to be part of the dxf file, only pad and components' locations.
