Hi Jorge,

Dark theme is working quite okay so far. What I want to achieve with the Net-classes inside the modules (in the schematic part) is that I can use it with the new drill rules. But at the moment I can only set the Net classes within the board. Which is not handy.
It requires a lot a extra work. Plus it is harder to split schematic and layout tasks between multiple people.

Probably since the update of the design rules, it is not possible for me to change the 'Net classes' inside a module. They do not appear as members of the default class. This is a screenshot of the Net classes while i'm in a module.

Can this bug please be solved?

Hi @willem_selten ,

Thanks for posting, just FYI the Dark mode is technically not supported in Electronics, because it's not complete. Its cool to see you trying it, how do you like it so far?

So it looks like you are looking for where to define the rules for netclasses. With the new DRC, Netclasses are now just an extra scope and no longer the only scope you can use for rules. You can set rules for netclasses in the Rules editor under custom rules.

See this video around the 6ish minute mark for an example

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWEW2CpjuXU&list=PLmA_xUT-8UlKCpCBFJNu7i46UsMarLDJg&index=3

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns

Best Regards,

I hope you're doing well. So the image you showed didn't have modules, it looks like you have different sheets but not modules. You can define netclasses on the schematic and apply them to different nets on the schematic. You can find the Netclasses in the schematic under the VALIDATE menu.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

The confusing part is that there are 3 PCBs included in this single design.

As shown in the video; in the module there is a net named: OSC1. But it is not in the net classes.

Thank you for submitting the video. Unfortunately, netclasses can't be applied to the insides of modules. Currently netclasses are only supported on the top level schematic.

I'll make an enhancement request for this.
