"Click or press / to activate command line mode" does not work

Hi everyone,

does anyone else has the problem that this: "Click or press / to activate command line mode"

does not work? I come frome a earlier version from EAGLE and extensively use the command line. But it is very unpleasant to have to click in the command line each time.

I use Fusion360 since 1 year and i wonder if i am the only person who has this problem.

Hi @mailG7SNN,

I hope you're doing well. It is working for me over here. Do you use a non-standard Keyboard Layout (Dvorak or something like that?) perhaps the key you are pressing doesn't map to / as expected.

Hi @jorge_garcia,

i use a german standard keyboard, with german layout, nothing special. The language in fusion360 is set to english. I can not find any other Settings what would cause the slash to stop working. And also when i click into the command line with the mouse and then press slash, the / will be printed there. So i assume that it is correctly mapped..

to get control on the command line I have to use the "/" on the number pad.

instead of US-keyboard layout

Using Win10 with german layout.

"/" here with Shift+7 (german layout) didn't work.

using the slash of the numpad to get to the command line worked for me as well. Thank you very much. I had not even thought about that ideal yet.
