Library Footprint with Holes

Good morning.

I want to know if I create a footprint that includes a holes layer, will those holes transfer over to the PCB layout?

Or are they just outlines?

Will I need to create the same holes on the PCB layer?

you can place holes in the footprint in your library:

Thank you for he reply. I was able to find the hole icon and create them.

I thought by placing an outline on the holes layer it would create the hole.

That was not the case.

I needed to use the hole icon and create a hole and not worry about the layer.
