topic submit a feature request for chalk mark in Fusion Electronics Forum

i would like to see a chalk mark tool. when sketching out difficult shapes it s hard to keep it exact measurements. right now as best as i know you have to count blocks in 1 or 10 mm. my thought is having a chalk tool to make marks or some kind of measuring tape that you can put wherever you want. right now all you can do is measure what you have made. prefer the measuring tape but if not at least a chalk mark you can remove later.

Hello @sydryvers ,

I hope you're doing well. You could use the MARK command, this gives you a relative origin which you could use as a chalk mark. Also depending on what you are trying to draw you can use the mechanical sketch tools to do a board outline and that will be much simpler.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
