Hi Jorge,

Unless I'm mistaken, the attached screenshots demonstrate that the SMCJ33A component I'm trying to add to the schematic has been mapped and appears with its assigned symbol and footprint - and among its fellow FAVR Parts library components - on the schematic editor, but it isn't listed among the selectable components in my FAVR Parts library.

I hope this is sufficient information for you to explain what my problem is. Thanks for looking at this!

V/R, - guy

Hub Library Not Syncing - Fusion

Hi!

I just created a new component by importing a hub symbol and connecting it to an imported hub footprint. I can see the new component in the library component panel, but when I attempt to add it to my schematic, it doesn't appear on the list of available components. When I open the Library Manager, the new component doesn't appear, but I see an endlessly rotating indicator that my libraries are syncing. So... I'm guessing that F360 is stuck in a syncing operation. Any suggestions how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello @guy.steph.ryan,

So in order for a component to be useable in a schematic it must contain a symbol and and associated footprint which have been mapped to each other. Did you make sure to fully map the component in the library?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I just noticed that an asterisk now appears to the right of the SMCJ33A component name (the one that doesn't appear in my hub library's list of selectable components). This asterisk is not part of my component name. None of my other hub library components show an asterisk to the right of their name. What does this asterisk mean, and might it have something to do with my inability to select it?

Thanks!

V/R, - guy

The asterisk implies that the component has changes that have not been saved. Try saving the library and then in the schematic do an update all libraries. If you go to the place parts panel now, do you see the SMCJ33A.
