Hi,

man the security hurdles you have to go through to post on this forum make one think that Autodesk would rather yo didn't post at all. Totally over the top and unnecessary.

First job of the day, after completing the PCB design, and then go to generate an etching toolpath the PC hangs without the toolpath ever generating....even ten or twenty minutes later. I have to use Task Manager to crash Fusion and the restart. Infuriating waste of time and always with some data loss.

Throughout the rest of the day it performs normally.

I'm guessing that Fusion has effectively 'signed me off' overnight, and will not resume service the next morning without a restart.....but then prior to trying to generate the toolpath I have saved various intermediate design steps, so Fusion is aware that I'm working and is saving data as I generate it.....but it hangs when I go to generate a toolpath.

I'm trying to make a living here, and this time wasting is just making that ever harder.

Craig

Hi @zigzag2015 ,

Let me reach out to Seth about this and see if anything has changed recently, or if he has any ideas on why the CAM environment is doing this.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hey there @zigzag2015, thanks for posting and apologies for the issue you're running into. Could you share your file here (the one with the CAM) or email it to @jorge_garcia or myself?
