I've recently imported an old Eagle PCB file into Fusion, and I'm running into an issue. This is a 4 layer board, with ground and power planes in layers 2 & 3 respectively. Fusion doesn't seem to recognize these layers when running a ratsnest. All ground and power vias that should be connected through the inner layers end up with airwires.

I found a post here about the "Ratsnest processes polygons" setting, but the only difference is that, when the setting is turned off, ratsnest reports "378 airwires (Eagle rc setting prevents Ratsnest from filling Poly Pours)". When the setting is turned on, ratsnest reports "378 airwires" with no further text.

Is there some other setting I'm missing? This board has always been ok in Eagle.

Hi @ronDWTRR,

I hope you're doing well. Ratsnest isn't really necessary in Fusion like it was in EAGLE. See the image

Use the show all polygons, refill polygons, etc. commands instead and see if this solves it.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Show/hide polygons was the first thing I tried, I only went to ratsnest when those didn't work. Neither resolves the airwires, unfortunately.

The Share Link menu item is grayed out on all of the board files, is there another way I can share them? (Or, how do I get access to the Share Link option?)

Thanks,

By chance are the airwires hidden? Try Ratsnest * in the CLI and then refill the polygons.

Just posting here in case someone else runs into it. The issue was that for some reason the layer stackup had switched to a 2 layer board, hence it wasn't taking the 2 inner layers into account. That's why all the airwires cropped up.
