Hi @RitchieFromParis,

Maybe I'm not understanding the request? The layers are already there and the text command allows you to put in notes.

Are you asking for an arrow object to do the annotation instead of drawing the lines?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

How to put arrows to indicate information such as voltages, currents in a simple way without having to tinker?

It's still something common in Engineering, isn't it?

They will answer me that there is the Layer 153, but of course it doesn't work, anymore.

Can't you put us a simple little layer of annotations? It's useful, right?

Hi @RitchieFromParis,

I hope you're doing well. For the schematic, you could use the Info or Guide layers for this. On the 2D PCB you can use the tDocu or bDocu layers.

I've drawn arrows manually before using the LINE command and added some notes using the TEXT command.

Let me know if you need anything more than this or if there's anything else I can do for you. It's always nice to hear from you Ritchie.

Thank you Jorge for your answer,

Isn't there a simpler solution? It's still common to annotate information on a diagram, right? Why don't you add a simplified text layer to annotate diagrams? Same Preview on Mac does it!!!

It's always a shame that with Fusion SIMPLE things are always very complicated, but that's how it is and obviously it doesn't change, I've been soliciting simple things for years and could simplify our task.

Thanks

Hi @RitchieFromParis,

Would this work for you? It's not exactly the same, but can serve the same function. I get the arrow header with one of the options of the dimension command.

You can draw leaders to any text or like I did with the line command create waveforms.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks Jorge yes this is what I need, but is the possible to add simple little things like these to Fusion one day? And without going into a line of code...

Here is a simple little thing to add rather than other big functions that not everyone necessarily uses! Everyone leaves annotations, notes on a diagram.

I know this request will never succeed but I try anyway.

Thanks Jorge for your help

What I showed in the image is already available. It's part of the Dimension command so everything I did is already doable. The stuff in the image you posted would just be the dimension command and the text command.
