topic Net class clearances are not used, bug in EAGLE ->Fusion360 transition? in Fusion Electronics Forum

Hello,

some of you may already have mentioned that when you delete a net class in EAGLE or Fusion, the other net classes are not automatically renumbered, as you can see here, which is an example in EAGLE 9.6.2:

In Fusion360, the numbers on the top were changed, as you can see here, which is the same project:

Now the problem is, that the new assignments are faulty. When I edit the 4-->4 assignment which I expect would be L_New --> L_New, in reality it changed the L_New --> PE assignment. I also saw this behaviour in the layout.

I think this is very problematic because there might be projects where it does not get noticed directly.

I think the best you can do until this gets fixed is to remove all classes and add them again manually so that the numbering is correct.

I added a test brd file with the netclasses seen above.

Hi @andreas_4VZ35,

I hope you're doing well. I don't know if you've seen the Fusion Insider release. I'll pass this along to the developers for reviews but I think the new DRC implementation has resolved this but I'll talk to the developers to make sure.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
