Ensuring all views of a design save together would indeed prevent inconsistencies. We're working on refining this aspect to make the user experience smoother for both seasoned and new users.

Since FE is a little crashy at this point, it's necessary to save early and often. However, the save UX, whilst being broadly similar to EAGLE, in the context of the Fusion UI is just weird. I've noticed that if I select the top level design rather than just the board, schematic or 3D view and save from there, it will save everything, unless an update of the 3D model is needed, in which case a warning is shown. I think I ended up with the board and schematic out of sync earlier today by not heeding the warning.

Ideally, FE should hard-bind all the views of an electronics design together such that it's impossible to save one without saving all of them, and it should also be impossible via UI actions to force the board and schematic to become unmatched. As a long-time EAGLE user I just find the UX irritating, but a new user would probably blow themselves up pretty regularly.

(All that said, this is fantastic progress, and when the edges are knocked off it'll become a fantastic tool)

Hello @zobb011111,

I hope you're doing well. The latest versions of Fusion already save all the files together to minimize inconsistencies.

Let me know if you are seeing something different.

Best Regards,
