I set the shortcuts up via the menu item, but they just call the command "display x" where x is one of the layers sets defined in the DISPLAY LAYERS tab of the PCB Document.

As an example, in the command line, I've tried typing: Display preset_top

I get the same error here as in the short cut.

If I could get the command to work, I'm sure the I can get the short cuts to work as well.

Display Layer Unknown

I downloaded the latest version of Fusion 360 yesterday and since then I'm not able to switch layers with the display command.

I've tried using the layer set names and the only one that seems to work is "display all".

This is the error message I get:

I've associated shortcuts with the layers I use most often. They likewise have stopped working.

Given how I work, I'm constantly switching layers, so this is a big deal for me.

Hi @kerry.gerontianos,

I hope you're doing well. How did you setup your shortcuts? If you are trying to bring over the shortcuts using a script that is not going to work. The Shortcuts dialog does not act on the assign command so you have to go into that command and set them up.

Let me know how your shortcuts are set up and we can maybe get to the bottom of this.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi @kerry.gerontianos,

I think the DISPLAY command isn't properly setup to handle Layer sets. Let me file a ticket for this to see if we can get it sorted.

In the meantime you could explicitly choose the layers. Something like

DISPLAY None Top Bottom Pads Vias Unrouted;

As the shortcut. That might get you going while we sort this out.

https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=ECD-CLI-D#display

Best Regards,

Hi @jorge_garcia,

Thank you for the workaround.

I ended up deleting and then recreating the Shortcuts.

In case it helps others, I create the shortcut for the Preset_Top layer set as:

display none; display 1 17 18 19 20 21 25 39 41 51

I did the same for the other presets I was using as well.

As a note, I tried using the names of the layers in the above example, but only the numbers work, which is fine.
