When you want to associate the 3d package to a footprint in the library document you first go to the content manager and then right click on the footprint you wish to associate to a 3D package you'll see the option to associate a package with it left-click that option. From there you can follow with what you have done.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know if you continue to run into problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards,</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I built a device in a library in fusion 360 i cant find a way to add a 3d package i see i can create a new package which works.When i drag and drop a component stp model into the package creator i save the file then it doesnt show up under the library or anything.I must be not doing something there must be a way to import stp models for each device i tried going back to eagle and designing the part in there but i know get a lovely webgl error with no forum solution fixing it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm having issues with 3D packages not showing up, too. My workaround so far has been to go to the layout, use the replace tool on the part in question and then I get a message asking if I want to use a newer version of the library (or something along those lines). Afterwards, I can test using 3D board view or by clicking Change -&amp;gt; 3D Package and then on the part. The changed model shows up in the preview now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
