Once I send the PCBs out for fabrication, I always lock my design files (For Eagle I'd change all the files to read-only) so that anytime I open the file, I have the exact file with no changes that matches the board I sent for fabrication. This is very important to me and our company to lock these versions. Is there a way to do this with Fusion Electronics?

Thanks,

Hello @AJ_Smoothie,

I hope you're doing well. There isn't a way to lock the files and frankly with the versioning system you don't need to. What you can do is set that version as a Milestone, this will give it a flag so that you know which version you sent off for manufacturing and you can always revert to that version if you should need to.

You can also use the Milestone version as a basis to "fork" the design and make another revision.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
