On my machine (macbook pro 2018 quad core 2.9Ghz, radeon) opening the 3D view takes from 20s to 2 minutes depending on the project. That is way too long for something that is pretty optional most of the time.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Please make it at least optional or make it possible to really start working right when the schematics or pcb editors open.
