Importing 3D model and adding it to a component package

I have used Eagle and now Fusion 360 for a couple of years but never really paid much attention to the library management since I'm the only electronics design engineer in our small startup. I download a lot of part files from distributor and manufacturer sites and some don't have the 3D model included. I can get the 3D model separately though and would like to import it and add it to the component package. Can I do this and if so, how? Is there training I can take on Library Manager and if so, where would I find that?
