Yeah, tried that too. haha. But there does not seem to be more options there than what F360 has.

Hi all

Ive run into two issues with the 3D view of my PCB.

Issue 1:
Everything was working just fine schematic to PCB design to 3D view. All good. Then all of a sudden the 3D view of the PCB broke. Updating the 3D view from PDB design window did nothing. Nothing I tried fixed the issue. There were no components shown, the component holes were not updating, it was generally just broken. I dont know if I accidentally selected a setting.

Issue 2:

I then unassociated the broken 3D view from the design the project. I was then able to create a new 3D PCB view and everything worked again. But now, how do I delete the broken 3DPCB view. It just gives me the error I cannot delete the file because it is associated to other stuff.

Please see the two pics for some visual reference.

Please help

Thank you

This was a known issue that I think they recently tried to fix, so I would make sure you have Fusion fully up to date.

As far as removing the broken 3D pcb file, I believe the workaround was to move it to a different folder location and then Fusion would allow you to delete it as long it was disassociated from the electronics design.

Regards,

Hi @ritste20

Thank you for your reply! I tried your suggestion, but unfortunately with no success. I tried moving the file and then deleting it, but I still have the same issue.

I have attached another picture where it shows that there are no associations since its not used in any other part.

Have you tried opening the web-based file manager? In the data panel, click the globe with the eyeball in near the upper right corner and "open on the web". You might have better luck forcing a delete from there instead of inside Fusion.

Regards,

Also with reference to your previous update, I checked that the F260 version I have; it is the latest version.

I just started a new PCB and again, the PCB becomes blank in 3D view all of a sudden. This is quite annoying, especially if I am going to end up with a tonne of undeletable broken files.
