I hope you're doing well. That's not a bad idea. We intend to rework that entire workflow so this will probably be addressed then.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Schematic modules and Ctrl-clicking on macOS?

I saw a video demonstration of the schematic module feature. The presenter used Eagle 7 on Windows, and to e.g. move a port around, he said you need to Ctrl-click on the port with the Move command active.

On macOS, Ctrl-clicking triggers the context menu, of course (relict from the days of one button mice). What modifier button am I supposed to use to edit a module's ports in Fusion 360 on macOS? I tried all combinations, but did not manage to move a port around after creation. Is this an oversight or does this work differently now from previous Eagle versions?

I hope you are doing well!

In Mac OS, you can press command in the keyboard to move port while activate Move command.

Please have a try to see if it works well for you, thanks!

Yes, indeed it's CMD. I tried that yesterday before asking, though.

There seems to be some issues with moving the module "pins" around. The point you need to click to grab the port is at it's base, where it intersects the module's bounding box. However, in 4 out of 5 times, you grab the box and resize that instead. That's what happened to me yesterday and that's why I came to ask how to do this.

This is a rather annoying UX bug. The spot to click to edit/move the module "pin" should not be on the line of the module, but rather "everywhere" on the pin *except* where it intersects the module's bounding box.

It is a poor UX design. We are aware of this and want to improve it. Thanks for bringing it up again.

Alright, I played with this some more today and I cannot get any pins moved anymore...

Could this be worked around without too much hassle by adding another selection filter?

I already tried to move a pin with the "module instance" filter deselected, but it seems that that also includes the pins.
