Hi @osamaolabi ,

I hope you're doing well. Fusion 360 electronics has the same DXF import ULP that EAGLE uses so you should be able to get the same result. So I recommend using import-dxf ulp in Fusion 360 BUT copy the import script from the ULP when it shows you the preview. Don't just run it because it currently doesn't work correctly. Copying the script will allow you to just paste it into the Fusion 360 Electronics CLI and hit enter to import it.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hello Everyone,

I'm having a problem with creating circles inside a PCB Electrical Design. After creating my sketch in the design and exporting it as DXF. Importing it into the 2D PCB Design in Fusion results in missing circles.

But when I import the same DXF into Eagle it imports perfectly, and then I have to save it as a .brd and import it into Fusion360.

The problem I noticed within F360 is that when there is an error in the drawing, it just doesn't load the sketch. But in Eagle it still loads the sketch while highlighting that there is an error.

I realized that in F360 PCB Design you can not create a Circle inside a Circle. which is what is causing the problem in my opinion.

Here are the pictures (Sketch, Fusion360 import, Eagle Import) and attached is the DXF for anyone interested in giving this a shot.

Thank you,

Osama

In the bottom ribbon there is an option to ignore violators. Once you toggle it, everything works like a charm :).
