Hi and thanks for your fast reply,

in terms of your first suggestion, after hitting "Run" in the Synchronizer window, the view jumps from the schematic to the PCB but doesnt change anything. Then clicking on the "Run ERC to find differences and resolve them" brings me back to the schematic where the ERC pops up and shows the same consistency error as before. Hitting "Clear all" also doesnt change anything.

I've also already tried to simply delete the part, but this adds even more consistency errors (as you can see in "ERC_after_delete"). Then, opening the Snychronizer and running it, does the same as before: switch to PCB-view and open ah Pop-Up with: Error: Unknown element 2

Seems like the problem is the Synchronizer not wanting to snychronize... Am i missing something? do i have to fill out the blank, green-highlighted spaces in the synchronizer?

Hello there,

my Fusion 360 crashed today and after restarting it, the schematics and PCB were out-of-sync. Now, there's this orange-highlighted bar on top which says: "Schematic/PCB sync deactivated: Run ERC to find differences and resolve them." Opening the ERC shows a problem under consistency errors: "Part U$1 not found in board" (Pic1: ERC_error). Now opening the Synchronizer shows the parts and Nets on the source side, pluses and minuses in the middle and color-highlighted areas on the Target side. The right, green-highlighted areas are blank, only the red ones, with the minus in the middle, are filled out. (Pic2: Synchronizer)

Clicking on 'Run' switches to the PCB-view, but doesnt change anything and the errors are still there.

Although this is a rather small project and i could simply make a new one, im afraid this could happen with a bigger schematic, which would put me in the same situation as im in right now.

@HarrySatt @jorge_garcia

Hi @mihael.blazevic ,

I hope you're doing well. After running the synchronizer, go ahead and run ERC again to confirm that the consistency error has been corrected. The ERC errors window doesn't automatically update to reflect the change you have made to correct the error.

If it's still not working, then in the case the easiest solution to restore consistency is to delete the the ofending part from the schematic and run ERC. If consistency has been restored then just re-add the part (DO NOT UNDO) and continue working.

Remember the Board and Schematic always need to be open together so that they can track each other.

Best Regards,

Hello everyone,

It looks like all of the nets were deleted from board. That's what has increased the consistency errors.

I would say that if you only have a handful of consistency errors then there's no need to run the synchronizer. Here's something to try to fix the consistency errors.

Go to the schematic

1. In the command line type Export and press enter

2. You'll see a menu pop up, click on Netscript

3. Save the netscript somewhere on your system where you will find it.

Go to the board

1. Click on the automation sub menu

2. Click on Script

3. Select the netscript you created and click OK.

Now run the ERC, your airwires should be restored. If at any point the script gives errors just OK them and let it run to the end.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

I hope you're doing well. The above procedure only applies if consistency is broken as defined by the ERC. It seems like that is not your case. I would recommend opening another thread and posting more specifics about the specific issue you are seeing.
