maybe you processed the polygons in your layout (if any) ?? And now all connections are made by the copper plane?

It's hard to say for me what's going on there. But if you would like to share you project with me you could invite me to it and i could have a look.

In general, we do not see problems with the DRC in regards of reliability.

There is 0 clarity on the DRC with regards to what an issue actually is.

Attached is a picture showing the DRC is highlighted a completed trace (I suspect). Something is obviously incorrect but I can't even tell whether this is an issue with a different trace behing the one highlighted as the DRC doesn't give a signal name. This seems like a very basic bit of functionality that is missing. I hope to see DRC issues fixed in the next update as this has been ongoing for some time now. Every time before this, I have managed to find a workaround but for this instance, I can't even tell what or where the problem is or if there even is a problem.

Hi @robert.martinUKYP4 ,

the Design Rule Check gives information on the number of not yet routed signals. Actually this is not a real design rule, you are correct, but we think it is the best place to show you whether there are still signals to be routed on the board. This is crucial to ensure that all signals are connected.
If you select one of the Airwire entries in the list, you should see a pointer in the drawing that shows you the related object/signal line.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hi Richard,

Having not turned on the PC, nor opened Fusion since Monday, the errors have now magically gone away on their own. This is the reason that I do not ttrust the DRC system.

Kindest regards,

Rob Martin

@RichardHammerlI have seen this before.....un-processed planes will create air wires.

It is an easy solve to just make sure all of your polygon pours are filled (processed) before DRC. It would be nice (at least as a user option) to have DRC mark these air wires as such - air wire inside a defined polygon pour to cue the user.

I have not found any real issues with DRC on my designs.

This is a known and confirmed bug that the DRC does not work if the planes are hidden.

if this were Jurassic park it’d be glitch 4096 on todays list.

this one is particularly annoying, any you throw up the casing point of the errors that fusion displays, generally they’re so glib, often just a couple of words that you have no idea what the error is telling you, let alone how to fix it.

These errors could be caused by planes but that is unlikely as without processing the planes, I have ~200 airwire errors and after processing, just 6, of which none seemed to be actual errors
