Hi Günther

thanks for your reply, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I need to have both sketches (top side and bottom side) visible all the time.

I only need to see them like this> when the model is in top view position, I see only the sketch on top plane. And if the model is in bottom view position, to see only the sketch on the bottom plane.

Now If I look from top I see both sketches and the same from bottom view. Like the model is transparent or so.

I'm wondering, why it's even visible the sketch on the bottom side of the model from the top view ???

Thanks for any other suggestions.

JJ

Hello,

I have a 100x100x2mm plate as my body. I create a sketch on the bottom side that I need to see as a reference. But if I flip the body to the top view, I can still see that sketch located on the bottom. The issue is, I need to have another sketch from the top side too and if I do so, both sketches are mixed. Is there a way to make the sketch not visible from the other side of the body? I mean bottom side placed sketch visible only from bottom view and opposite ? Thanks

JJ

Hi,

you can deactivate it in your browser.

But this will happen for both sides.

However, you can select hidden profiles by Leftclick +Hold and selecting the desired profile.
Note: The "Through" option in the "SELECT" tab must be activated.

günther

Hi,

The behavior you want is not possible.
You always see all sketches of the front and the back.
The (lower) color intensity indicates a back side.
If you activate a sketch, the difference is more clearly visible.

günther

It seems that you might just need to toggle the sketch visibility in your browser on the left. Turn off the sketch you don't want to see.

that's not the deal, I need to have both sketches visible, but as I turn the body I only need to see the sketch on the visible side of the body. I mean if I have sketch from top and bottom side I only need to see top sketch when looking from top view and only see the bottom sketch when looking from bottom view. Now I can see both sketches mixed from both views. I don't want to make the sketch invisible all the time 🙂

Hi,

If sketches are visible, this does not depend on the assignment to a plane or viewing direction.

Günther
