Mass not Accurate

Guys, Why is my Mass on this component not accurate. My dimension length with that is around 200mm, and im using titanium as material, the mass should be in kilograms by now around 10kg or more. How to fix this to accurately correct the data?

It might be the scaling ratio. It's seem to be smaller than the original. One's varify it. And adjest the scaling ratio.

Go to > Modify > Scale

And adjest the scale as per requirement.

got it sir. But ithink scaling is not the solution? because my dimension also changes. My dimension is quite already in standard. Im really confused why is it that my mass, density is not accurate compared to actual component

Hi,

How do you get to 10 kg?
For me the mass is plausible.
The specification 0.004 instead of 0.0045 is caused by the settings in your preferences and has no influence on the calculation of the mass.

The mass of the Piston Rod will be in grams itself. as you are using Titanium it radiuses to 200g. ones take a look @garryson09

and you jest want to cobined both the small end and the connecting rod here.

Let me study first my model. I remember i got to handle a con rods, and it weighs heavy. May its because the piston isnattached. But i think the mass is also correct. I will study first

I must warn you that my help would require starting over, completely over, like learning to walk again.

In past years, only 2 or three people who have replied, Yes, have been willing to follow through with the effort.

This can go very fast, or it can stretch out over weeks - you set the pace.

Start a new file.

Sketch the rectangle as shown and then add Midpoint constraint to the Origin.

Select the top and bottom horizontal lines and right click toggle them to Construction (this step isn't technically needed - but will make things just a bit easier down the road.

Sketch the two circles as shown - snapping to the midpoints of the horizontal construction lines.

What do you observe about the color of the geometry? (Is it blue or is it black?)

Finish Sketch1 and start a New Sketch.

P for Project and select the centerpoint of the smaller circle.

Select OK.

Add the two circles as shown. What do you note about the color of the circles. (Are they blue or are they black?)

Sketch another large circle (without dimensions) at each end.

Then Dimension, select a circle and then Right click and select Radius dimension.

Dimension as R35 at small end and R40 at large end.

What do you note about the color of the two new circles - before and after dimensioning?

Hide the visibility of Sketch1.

Sketch a vertical construction line between the centerpoints of the circles.

Sketch a vertical object line to the left of the construction line.

Mirror the underconstrained blue vertical line to the right side of the construction line.

Add a 20mm dimension between the mirrored lines.

What do you observe about the color of the lines after dimensioning?

What do you observe about the color of the endpoints of the lines?

(As we continue - we will see that observation of changes in geometry are critically important.)
