topic Creating a Hem in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

Alright guys, any help would be appreciated. I have a toolbox body, and I'm trying to create a hem from one of the sides. Usually, because Fusion doesn't have a hem feature, I create a sketch on the side of the face that I want to create a hem, sketch an arc, and then extrude that arc across using the flange feature. This has worked great for me every time I've done it.

For some reason, it's not working now. I sketch the arc just like usual from the inside edge, press the flange feature, and the arc is extruded along the face until ALMOST the edge, but it JUST MISSES. I've gone into my settings to change my sheet metal parameters, extruded from all kinds of faces, changed my sketch technique, tried to project the edge and then extrude, extruded from the face again and then tried to create a flange, pressed all of the buttons on the flange menu, tried to use the bend feature, etc.

I'll attach a photo of my project and the exported file. PLEASE tell me where I'm going wrong.

EDIT: Of course, I have the answer ten seconds after I post this. In Sheet Metal Rules, my Stainless Steel (in) (Convert) is LOCKED as .02, not .025 as everything else. I am not able to edit it. Why? How do I fix this?

EDIT 2: I created a new rule, set it to .025, and then when re-did the flange feature, I selected "New Component", and selected the new rule. In case anyone else needs a work-around to this problem.

Looks Like you are trying to attach a hem to an external linked component. Either break its link or use edit in place. Or open the part in a new tab and hem it there.
