attached is an image of a fender flare i have tried to match up to the front quarter panel and rocker panel, i used a fit point spline projected to the panels without projection link to loft to another curve that is offset from the panels. I cannot for the life of me find a way to make the surface of the flare itself smooth, in the picture the bottom most part of the flare circled in red, i can imagine why Fusion creates this kind of behavior but don't know if there is a way around it. If another program is more suitable suggestions welcome, and if its just impossible then thank you for whatever help the community can offer. If other pictures are needed then I will try to get back to the forum as soon as i can.

As a beginner, you should likely try not to work on automotive stuff as that requires a good working understanding of surfacing techniques.

Anyway, can you share your model?

As a beginner i have heard that a lot but have not been able to find how to learn these techniques, I understand that Autodesk has a few resources to use but going over them it seems they are not enough to fill the gap in experience, if there is a way to get information or education specific to higher level surfacing techniques that would be helpful, I also understand that automotive is a far from what a beginner should be starting on but the difficulty is only in the areas where the information I have is limited I am not an engineering or design student so there is no way for me to be taught other than to learn from open sources such as the forum, Youtube, and whatever I can find online.

For some reason the previous file was able to send when it was a larger file size than the maximum size, and as it stands I cannot send the file because it is too large. Don't really know what to do at this point.

You should overbuild the fender surface using sketched and not projected 2D curves on construction planes. Then trim it away with the existing vehicle surfaces.

If you are new to Fusion 360 and CAD then this is likely too advanced and you should go through the tutorials in the learn & support section to familiarize yourself with the basics.

When lofting you create NURBS surfaces. Here is a link to the Autodesk Alias Theory builders to provide you with some basics.

I have tried that technique already but if that is the best way to do it then I will revisit and put some more time into it, thank you for all the help.
