Hi,

I'm trying to render few models. I would like the models to be rotated by the same precise angle, so it looks nice when they are displayed side by side. I also would like them to be scaled the same way, so it would be visible which one is smaller and by how much. Is there a way to do such a thing? So far I can only rotate by free orbit command but it's not precise.

Thanks,

Ula

Ula-

We currently don't have keyboard shortcuts to rotate the model every x number of degrees.

However, this is the method that I use.

1. Get the model situated the way you want on the screen.

2. Use the ViewCube in the upper right to click on a view orientation, such as front for an orthographic view, or if you click near the top edge of the cube, you can get an isometeric view.

3. In the browser on the left, expand open Named Views.

4. Create a new named view and name it (like view01)

5. Use the View Cube to click on the next orientation.

6. Create a new named view and name it (view02)

7. Repeat as many times as you want.

8. Now, in Rendering, you can click on each of the named views and render them.

Thank you for your answer. However, it's not exactly what I meant. I'm searching for a method to have the same Named Views for different models (form different files). Is there a way to create something like a tamplate with all the Named Views and then just insert different models to that template?

Thank you,

Ula
