How can I flatten a part of my project

I need to plan some surfaces, but I don't know how to do that. I need to do this on the tubular part. For now, I built the parts using surface. The parts will be produced in aluminum and then welded. (vídeo attached)
Can someone help me?

Hi,

for the planned project you will have to deal with the sheet metal sector very intensively.

This will probably lead to a complete redesign of the part.

Can the part(s) be made in the real world?

I'm sorry, I don't know if I understood the question. This is a real
project. This is an intake part for an engine. The duct part will be made
of aluminum and can be welded to different parts. The base will be machined.

You can make a tangent plane and then sketch on it. Then extrude your sketch in required direction.

These parts are poorly modeled and cannot be manufactured/assembled in the real world as modeled???

I would start by modeling the digital parts with geometry identical to the real world physical parts.

How much experience/training do you have with CAD modeling?

This is a complicated design for a beginner.

It would take a lot of work to explain how to model correctly.

Hello guys
I'm still a beginner but I did some research and found something that can help a lot in what I'm wanting to do.
In fact, I already did it and it worked!
What I needed was just to make the upper part of the duct flat to be able to draw it on an aluminum sheet and build this part by hand (metal shaping techniques).
I found a plugin capable of doing this. See the link:
