Importing SVG not working properly, ellipsoids are not imported well

Hei Guys,

I got a Problem importing SVGs from Inkscape to Fusion.

Best way to tell you what's worng should be two screenshots.

The Ellipsoids are totaly damaged after importing.

I don't know what's wrong with the svg.

When you look at the grape, you see that the leaves are imported properly

Hope anyone can help.

are you sure that the imports are vectors?

Please share SVG und f3d from imported file

Here is the SVG,

I designed everything in Inkscape so in my Opinion these should be kind of vectors.

Imports correctly into Rhino so looks like a Fusion problem. @jeff_strater Can you take a look.

@Anonymous Attached is an f3d file created from exporting your file as a DXF from Rhino. The scale will probably be wrong but scaling to the correct size should be easy enough.

Thank you for this Quick fix,

unfortunately I got a lot of SVGs with this issues.

So should i convert this to dxf before importing ?

Well until Autodesk get it fixed using DXF should work. Does Inkscape have a DXF option or will you need to use another program? Rhino does quite a good job reading the SVG and exporting to DXF but some programs have problem writing clean splines to DXF.

Hi,

if you work in Inkscape you should:
1. remove the fills and save only the contours in the SVG
2. before saving you should do a conversion from contour to path. That way you will get a double contour, but it can be removed.
