Hello everyone.

I'm having trouble trying to chamfer in Fusion 360. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I see this message.

"Error: The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size.
Try adjusting the size, deselecting some of the edges (try disabling Tangent Chain), or using multiple separate operations."

Does anyone know what the problem is ?.

Thank you very much for your help.

It is hard to give an answer without the model. If you do not know how to attach your model, open it in Fusion 360, select the File menu then Export and save the .F3D to your hard drive. Then attach it using the Attachments section of a reply post.

The message tells you exactly what the error could be. You cannot make a 2.5mm chamfer when one leg of the chamfer is 2.1046 mm. 2.1046 mm is the largest Equal distance chamfer possible.

But not in the other one.

One problem you have is the sides are not symmetrical, one side is 2.0mm the other is 2.105mm. You can not chamfer either side to 2.5mm, the maximum you can use on one side is 2.0 and 2.105 the other. If you've inaccurately modeled the rest of your design like this then that will explain why you can chamfer some places and not others.

Also your timeline shows a very bad workflow. A bit of advice, avoid using primitives and use sketches created in the correct place then extrude. You should be able to make this without a single Move in the timeline, you will find as designs get bigger moves are likely to slow Fusion down and you'll end up with a design that's very hard to work with.

You might want to review the tutorials on sketching and assemblies.
