cannot delete this file

I recieved an error when trying to remove this file, fusion says this is linked to another model?

ive removed all the modeling and steps in the design tree but somehow this is linked to another design and i do not know which design. id like to delete this file,,,,

can someone tell me why i cant remove this file?

As it states, the file is in use in an assembly, a drawing or some other reference in another file. The big one is that a version of the file, probably not the most recent, is referenced. If this is the case it is extremely difficult to find the reference and remove it. This is an issue with Fusion 360 file system which they have not solved yet. You can go to the Web Database and display references and try and resolve the issue but it is difficult. In my Fusion 360 years of use, I have three files in this state which I cannot find the reference. It was suggested to me to create a folder named something like "Cannot Delete" and place these files in it which I have done.
