PDF Drawing Downloads removed from non-commercial version of Fusion 360

PDF Drawing Downloading Removed from free version.

I noticed that with the updated Fusion 360 free non-commercial version that PDF DRAWING downloads are now unavailable.
My story- I am 75 and have a garage shop with small lathe and mill. I also have a low end (cost) 3D printer. I have used Fusion to make various small items for the house. Additionally, I have a few very old early 1900’s farm engines which get shown at our Thrashing Bee once a year. I have made various parts for these engines in the shop which are not available any more. I found it very useful to be able to generate a PDF drawing I can use for checking sizes and as a shop diagram for machining, plus a historical record (file) of the part for possible future use.

QUESTIONS:
Is there any possibility of bring back the PDF Download option?
If not are there any suggestion of getting a better quality print than just a screen shot?

Followed what you did and it seemed to work up to a point.

When I got to printers I had no PDF, just a Dell and HP. Not sure how of if a PDF entry can be generate. If so I don't know how right now. Printer not onnected and on lap top now.

What usually happens when the printer is connected an option appears where I can print to PDF. Maybe I have to have a printer connected?

If you can help a little more that would be great, but if not I am gratefull for your suggestion and will persue it more.

It would appear that Fusion does not allow PDF Drawings to be downloaded from the free version. Or I simply am missing something. Your screen cast which I could follow the other day seems to be changed and now I am NOT getting the EXPORT option any more.

Having a hard time with the PDF printer set up - which is not a Fusion issue. I am sure your sulution will work but I have to set up the PDF port/printer, etc., on my end. Also having cataract surgery on both eyes in Jan so using a magnifying glass on me lap top while trying to run Fusion has presented enough problems in itself.

I am going to mark this as solved, as it seems to be the only way so far.

No, you only need to install the application, e.g. PDF Creator (Free).

The next time you start an application (including Fusion), PDF Creator is displayed in the printer list.
You select it as a printer and also a storage name and location.

Your solution does work.

My probleml is between my Mac and Printer. I managed to send a file to the Mac but connection to the printer failed. I have been talking with the folks at the Apple Store and learned that some of the newer Mac OS's trying to work with older printers (and non-updated drivers) are having problems.

I have the PDF Printer option and can select a file to print to the "PDF Printer". Hewever, the printer is OFF LINE and I have yet to figure why or hot to get it ON LINE - so far.

Perhaps I am just not seeing something, but I cnn only get up to the point where the PDF file does get to the mac and it appears it is in Q, but can not find the printer (and I found no where I could enter a folder to store it). The printer did show air printer but I know nothing about that.

watching the screenshots I notice that the PDF Printer function is "IN USE".

It was not in use at first. Then I went into the free version of Fusion and printed a PDF which is the one that went to the mac and also turned on the "in use" status.

I think I found the answer, at least it worked twice~

The PDF READER App has to be active/running. Then the Print command sent the Fusion File directly into the PDF Reader where I could again using the Mac Print command generate a local file.

With your help and my luck (little computer skill on this one from me) it seems to be a round about solution, but much better than nothing.
