Exporting a file to DXF (I searched but could not find answer for my issue)

I have imported a jpg and traced out the image of a gasket I want to cut out on a laser machine. I right click on the sketch and "save to dxf" but when I open the .dxf file it looks like the image also attached. I just want an outline as my laser in trying to cut everything that is shaded.

What am I doing wrong?

I assume you are opening the saved DXF using Fusion 360. If you are what you are seeing, I believe, is the "profile shading". Open it again, edit the sketch and click off the indicated box. I attached a zip of my DXF which I opened in AutoCAD and I can assure you it is just an outline.
