Sweep using spline path is intermittent

Hi,

I'm trying to create a channel by sweeping a rectangle along a path I've created. The path is created using a spline and as you can see from the image the sweeping seams to be intermittent. It seems to stop and start between the control points of the spline, but this is not always regular. It's all the same body and when I sweep with a straight line it sweeps along the path fine.

Any ideas if this is a bug or something weird I've done?

I've attached the file. The profile I'm sweeping is on sketch 'back piece' and the path is on 'under deck profile'.

Your Spline is not 2d, it is wavy, and the sweep is there but going under the top face.

Either way will fix the immediate problem.

(1.) Edit path Sketch, select the spline, then Right Click, in that Menu select Move to Sketch Plane, if you wish to, otherwise

(2.) Make the Profile oversize above it's top line...

Thanks both! I seem to have a few times accidentally modified 2D sketches in to 3D.
