I have imported a carriage bearing that contains 4 bolt holes. It is sat on another component and i want to drill 4 holes through the piece it is sat on.

I have tried creating a sketch and then copying the circles to then extrude / cut through the solid body.

For some reason i just cant make it work. What is the best / easiest way todo this?

When sketching, Use Create > Project > Project, and Select the faces with the holes in it.

Extrude the purple circles.

Careful with which component is active and which objects to cut.

Might help....

You can use combine(cut) and that makes the holes. Another option would be the "project" tool and select the contour of the part, the center of those bolts would be projected and you can make the holes with the "hole" tool. Let me know if that can solve your question.
