Hello ,

I would like to know how can I make a hole across an extusion that is always centered when I change the height of the extrusion.

Hi! With the "hole" tool you can always pick the center of the piece, so it does not matter if you change the height, it will always positioned at the center.

There are a variety of ways to achieve such a thing, and the best way will depend on the results you want. Please show us a specific example either with pictures or by attaching your f3d file with some detailed explanation.

there are two hole on the side , they dont re adjust when I change the thickness of the work

see attached. fully constraining your sketches will help. click on the dims to change the height. second sketch is the key to getting the holes to change position in this case

Sketch 8 was not fully defined, and has to be to make Fusion work with paramater changes.

Change the extrude height the holes will follow, change the face width the holes will stay centred.

You needed more constraints to get it done.

You should make a parameter

Also if you want to change the "8.5" dimensions you can make another parameter too

Now the holes will move, but that's due I add the dimensions to the midline on the sketch. 🙂 Check the file

Neither of his sketches are fully defined. Parameter changes did not work for him,

I try people understand by themselves the software and discover it. I think he knows, if not he'll ask about it.
