topic Raytraced videos in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

Hey there!

I really dig Fusions raytraced renders of parts, and recently, I modeled a few things with brass and glass as I quite enjoy that. Is there any way I can export a video of the thing moving which is raytraced?

I know I could do it the hard way and render the model, export the picture, and make them into a video, but I'm hoping that there is an easier way than this.

Nope.

A low frame rate for animations is 25 images a second. I can assure you that you cannot do that manually. Usually this is doe with keyframe animation where you move the camera and/or object to different locations/orientations and the software interpolates between those keyframes, but Fusion 360 does not offer that functionality.

Well, I have a Stirling engine without any camera movement. I dug deeper, and found that it is possible to raytrace-render motion studies, so that's what I did.

For anyone in the future that wants to know how to do this, check out this instructable: https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Render-an-Animation-in-Fusion-360/
