the design should be fine if you convert it to Direct Modeling (stop capturing history). And yes, that can be a useful technique in cases like this one. Another recommendation: Don't use Press/Pull for that last 1/16th inch. Use Offset Faces directly. The problem with Press/Pull (I never use it), is that its default mode is "automatic", which can go back and edit history, which can cause the kinds of errors that you refer to, depending on the edit.

I need to get a design to a contractor tomorrow for him to CNC the wood materials.

A complex box with hinges handles electronics panels, lighting. It's gone through many changes, some of it not done best practice as I learned fusion as I went. Yet it came out quite good. Now I need to made take a 16th off two sides of the doors and change the hinge. Just doing a push/pull on one side of one door throws a mass of errors , some red ones not just the yellows. I'm considering making a copy of this project, renaming, and disabling the history. If I am content with direct edit for the final changes, is there a danger I don't know about. Might screws or objects move or become unaligned that I might over look ? Or will it stay WYSIWYG as I disable the time line?

Thank You

Brad

Killing design history when the file has problems is a good way to learn how to model in Fusion 360. After a while, you'll find you won't need to do it. One way to delay having to kill design history is to run the Compute All tool when deleting objects or changing dimensions (If you fix the errors 😀).
